Mens Ministry

THE PROGRAM
Restored to Hope has a 12 month, supervised residential facility located in San Bernardino. Men enter the facility from a variety of life circumstances including court-mandated terms of probation, by recommendation of parole officers, as well as voluntary choice by men who desire to start a new life.

Each man who enters the program is expected to participate in 12 Step, life skill, and bible study groups, contribute to the daily chores and routines of the house, be an active member of a work crew, participate in community service projects, and submit to random alcohol screenings and drug testing.

THE ENVIRONMENT
Men live together in a residential home where staff is dedicated to supporting each man’s personal journey to learn job skills and return as productive members to society. Men are provided an opportunity to learn a variety of work skills including landscaping, painting, private security and construction.

In addition to gaining job skills and work experience, men are provided the opportunity to participate with chruch menbers in voluntary events such as camping, fishing and desert riding to build relationships and foster the skills necessary for reintegration to family as well as society.

Assisting Men as they address:
Addictions | Destructive life patterns | Broken relationships | Low self-worth

Equipping Men to:
Cope with stress & anger | Actively parent | Integrate into community living | Learn job skills | Acquire work experience

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
